I mused aloud earlier this week, how I wished I had paid more attention to the wisdom of my Grandmother. She was an avid and successful gardener. I told how she could look to the skies and accurately predict the coming weather. “If when you look at the moon,” she told me; “and it has a circle around it, that means harsh weather is coming.” And she was correct. That sign has never been proven inaccurate in my experience.
Again, this morning I thought with sadness of all the tradition and information that had been lost and I was reminded. “All because we do not carry, everything to GOD in prayer!”
This excites me beyond measure! My grandmothers were praying women, blessed with wisdom during their walk upon this earth. Nothing is lost, when you understand that GOD is the source. The giver and depositor of all wisdom, and all worthwhile tradition.
For the first time, I don’t feel the limits that time and death impose upon us all. If GOD does not provide the answer, it’s just not worth doing. If I will carve out my own relationship with GOD, access doors to knowledge and life are slung wide open!
